        <title>IPM in Practice: Applying Nematodes and Milky Spore at the Garden</title>

          <p>Apr 16, 2026,  9:00am - 10:00am</p><p>Join CCE Onondaga at the Voice of the Farmer Garden, located at the NYS Fairgrounds, on Thursday 4/16/2026 to learn about Beneficial Nematodes and Milky Spore to treat Japanese Beetles.We will talk about the uses of nematodes and what to think about when considering them. A demonstration of applying Milky Spore and Nematodes will be done across the space.This event is great for Master Gardener Volunteers and the public, so home gardeners are welcome! Registration fees are waived for this April 16th event.Space is limited. Spots available to the first 30 registrants.The Voice of the Farmer Garden (VoFG)  is located on the NYS Fairgrounds. Enter the fairgrounds at Gate 2 and  inform security you are headed to the VoFG. Then take an immediate right  driving parallel to State Fair Blvd until you reach the Indian Village.  Take a left just before the Indian Village and continue straight until  you see the garden on your left. Parking is available around the garden or to the right of the garden in front of the Youth Building. </p>

Projects started or created  during the series can be used as an exhibit to be shown at the 2026  Youth Fair! Possible projects for this series include: aprons, pillows,  pillow cases, bags made from recycled material, shorts, etc.The series will be held on: 4/9, 4/16, 4/23, &amp; 4/30.The sessions for this spring will be held at the St Michael&#39;s Lutheran Church (5108 W Genesee St, Camillus, NY 13031). Sessions run from 6:00- 7:30 pm.Cost is $5.00 for each individual session, $20.00 for all four.
