Pruning of Tall Spindle Apple Trees

Calling all commercial fruit & vegetable producers!

Come experience hands-on learning of fruit tree pruning from the expert orchardist, Walt Blacker, at local Apple Acres’ orchards. This workshop will not teach the pruning of traditional apple trees but rather specifically focus on the pruning of Tall Spindle Apple Trees, more commonly grown by commercial apple producers at the present time.

The workshop will be held on Thursday, February 21st from 9:00am - 12:00pm at Apple Acres (4633 US-20, Lafayette, NY 13084).
