Katie Oja, MPH, Community Nutrition Educator. Katie received her Bachelor of Science degree from Syracuse University in Dietetics and Nutrition. She received her Master of Public Health degree from the Central New York Public Health Program, a collaboration between SUNY Upstate Medical University and Syracuse University. Katie has a Certificate of Advanced Study in Health Services Management and Policy from the Maxwell School at Syracuse University. She worked for the Lerner Center for Public Health Promotion on the Healthy Monday campaign. Katie is currently ServSafe certified. Her work focuses on youth and family nutrition. Katie serves as the assistant director of events and fundraising for the Jonathan Cancer Fund and is very active in local pediatric cancer awareness efforts.
