Onondaga County Maple School For Beginners and Backyard Producers

Thinking about maple? You're not alone! More and more families are enjoying this springtime tradition. Join us at Tully United Community Church for a morning about what it takes to get started making maple syrup. Steve Childs from the Cornell Maple Program will share everything you need to know from the woods to the sugar house.

There will be a classroom session in the morning and a visit to local sugar makers at Dutch Hill Maple in the afternoon. If time permits, we may have time for a short walk and talk in the sugarbush. Dress for the weather!
