The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has announced their yearly Day Old Pheasant Chick Rearing Program. Please read more on this link:

Through the CCE Agency/4-H Program, I can place an order for free pheasant chicks. Please advise me by March 15^th so that I can make one collective order. The chicks must be picked up from me on a To-Be-Announced date & location. They will need water, feed and a heat lamp immediately.

Attached is the Rearing Guide for your review. Pheasants must be released into a rural area per DEC directions.
