Oneida Lake - Lewis Point Water Chestnut Pull - Date Moved

Please join CCE Onondaga and the Oneida Lake Association on Friday, July 14th (rescheduled for July 21st) for a water chestnut pull at Lewis Point on Oneida Lake.
Bring water shoes, sunglasses, sun screen, hat, cotton gloves, water, PFD, and watercraft.
8:00 AM - Sign in and Brief Safety Meeting
8:30 AM - Begin Pulling and Composting Water Chestnut
Director Carl Ford will represent the OLA team for a pull on the east side of Lewis Point.
Simultaneously, there will be a water chestnut pull on Shaw Road at the Toad Harbor DEC Fishing Access Point. The major collection will be from the two dug canals north of the access point and the mouth and upstream Big Bay Creek.
