Challenges like distribution obstacles, wholesaler needs, accessibility in rural and urban 'food deserts' as well as solutions like food hubs, scaling production, and incentive systems will be discussed.
The Brewing Industry: The brewing and distilling industry in Central NY is booming! Panelists will talk about this emerging market, identify obstacles, and potential opportunities in growing ingredients, processing, and sales.
Accessing New Markets: Panelists discuss the challenges and connections in new markets. Promotion, processing, farm to institution, farm to school, and having a digital presence will be addressed.
Panelists and other experts will be set up at tables. Attendees can meet each area, going to each table for short intervals.
