New York State Fair

Please visit our Master Gardener booth at the New York State Fair! Learn about Healthy Yards, Planting Perennials, and many more environmentally safe practices. Or stop by to ask us a gardening question! Our booth is open everyday of the fair from 10AM to 6PM. **Now located INSIDE the Ag Museum**

- Onondaga 4H Youth & SNAP-Ed Educators at the 4H Youth Building, August 30-September 3
- Water & Ecology Educator with be tabling with DEC on Sunday 8/26 from 10am-2pm. Come visit us at the NYS Experience Pond and check out resources on ways to protect the environment and yourself while fishing, as well as hands-on activities related to water quality for families.
- Ag Educator at Dairy Cow Birthing Center, located between the midway and the Times Square area near the Youth Building. Open daily from 10:00am to 9:00pm
- Urban Forestry Educators at the City Arborist booth on August 28th and 30th in the Horticulture Building
- CCE Onondaga 4H, 10 am to 4pm, August 30 to September 3rd; 4H Building; youth provided exhibits and presentations on horses, food and nutrition, ecology of monarch butterflies and more!
- CCE Onondaga Natural Resources, September 1, 11 am to 3pm at the Timber Sports and Forestry Exhibition Day, around the pond on the west side of the Fairgrounds. CCE will be presenting on forest health with an emphasis on invasive and ticks. Also, log truck and live sawing demonstration alongside timber sports demonstrations.
