  • Saturday, October 27, 2018, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM

This presentation and park walk is designed to raise community knowledge about the ticks that exist in central New York, what habitat they prefer, and how to reduce the possibility of tick bites through personal protection, habitat management and cultural controls.

The indoor session will be a lecture and discussion followed by a walk in Onondaga Park to look for examples of tick habitat.

The workshop is free, registration is not required. Walk-ins are welcome. Please note that the workshop will be held rain or shine, so please dress for the weather.
