What does it take to get your value-added product or favorite family recipe from the farm or kitchen to the consumer? Bring your samples of value-added products for tasting and testing. Learn about the entire process, from the food safety aspects of your product to getting it on a Taste NY shelf!

Allyson Towndrow from the Taste NY Central New York Welcome Center will explain the onboarding process for entrepreneurs to get their products in Taste NY stores. New York State (NYS) Agriculture & Markets representatives will provide information on the NYS Grown & Certified process.

Cornell Food Venture Center experts Bruno Xavier and Cynthia James about:

  • Cornell AgriTech Services and Resources for Small Food Manufacturers
  • Basic Food Safety Information and Practices
  • State and Federal Regulatory Requirements
  • Production Documentation Practices

Please register online by January 22nd so we may order catering. Registration is $30 per person (lunch included).
