In this 90 min workshop you will learn basic food safety and how to preserve apples using steam or water bath canning. You will work in teams through the entire process. Each person will take a jar of canned apples home.

Our instructor, Nancy Pfeiffer, will use the safest, most updated information available so that participants learn the science of food preservation including food safety, and gain hands-on experience with boiling water canning techniques.
