New York Annie's Project: How to Diversify or Scale with Confidence for Profitability
Wednesdays, February 4th, 11th & 25th (skip 2/18)
11am-2pm
Zoom Or In-person at select Cornell Cooperative Extension locations
Do you have an idea for a new enterprise to add value to your farm? Maybe you're considering scaling up for a potential market opportunity, but just aren't sure if it's a good fit for your business. Join Cornell Cooperative Extensions of Broome County, Madison County, Onondaga County, Niagara County, Tioga County, the Niagara Small Business Development Center, and the Eastern NY Commercial Horticulture Team for a hybrid series on Wednesdays in February, starting on February 4th, that will answer these questions and more. Those who complete the series will learn how to identify resources available at the farm level to support diversification or scaling-up, as well as how to evaluate the business potential of these opportunities. Each session will be offered with a virtual option, as well as coming into the CCE offices listed previously for group discussion and learning from your peers.
The cost is $25 for the series. More information on specifics for what will be covered, and registration, can be found here. Any questions can be directed to Laura Biasillo at lw257@cornell.edu.
