A public educational event led by MGVs, with volunteers participating as part of their monthly meeting.

This free event  is open to the public and will feature:

  • A live potato planting demonstration
  • A look at our apple tree installation
  • Opportunities to talk with Master Gardener Volunteers and get answers to your gardening questions

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced gardener, this is a great chance to learn, explore the garden, and connect with local experts.

Date: Tuesday, May 19
Time: 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 pm
Location: VOFG at the NYS Fairgrounds

(The Voice of the Farmer Garden (VoFG) is located on the NYS Fairgrounds. Enter the Fairgrounds at Gate 2 and inform security you are headed to the Voice of the Farmer Garden. Then take an immediate right driving parallel to State Fair Blvd until you reach the Indian Village. Take a left just before the Indian Village and continue straight until you see the garden on your left).

Parking is available around the garden.

Registration is required as space is limited.

Come ready to learn, ask questions, and get inspired for the growing season!
