Shotwell Brook Wetlands Tour

Day & Time: Monday, September 21st from 4:00pm - 6:30pm

Location: Meet at the intersection of Pork Street and East Lake Road (park in the pull off on the side of the road). We will reorganize and carpool from there!

Join us for an exclusive look at wetland projects along Shotwell Brook, one of the major tributaries to Skaneateles Lake. During this tour, we will visit four different projects in the Shotwell Brook sub-watershed created to protect water quality in Skaneateles Lake. At each site, Gian Dodici from US Fish and Wildlife Service and Kim Clark from Onondaga Soil and Water Conservation District will talk about the projects: how they were created and their role in protecting water quality. There will be opportunity for questions at each stop.

**This tour will require walking a few miles on uneven ground. Please wear appropriate footwear. **
