Onondaga Youth Leadership Program

Youth ages 11-18 are now invited to enroll in fall sessions of the “Youth Leadership to Strengthen Our Communities” program offered by Cornell Cooperative Extension Onondaga County 4-H.

The seven-week course, will be offered in three locations in Onondaga County beginning in October:

  • Tuesdays at Rosamond Gifford Zoo, beginning October 4th
  • Wednesdays at Betts Branch Library on South Salina Street, beginning October 5th
  • Thursdays at South Bay Fire Department on Cicero Center Road, beginning October 6th

There is no cost to attend! This program is made possible by a grant from the Syracuse/Onondaga County Youth Bureau.

Participants must be:

  • Between the ages of 11-18;
  • A resident of Onondaga County;
  • Interested in developing leadership skills designed to enable them to reach their personal goals and help their communities;

Participants will earn a leadership certificate upon successful program completion.
