Preserving the Apple Harvest: Water Bath Canning Apple Slices

Learn how to safely preserve your harvest!

In this workshop, you will learn the basics of food safety and how to preserve apples using steam or water bath canning methods. Each person will take a jar of canned apples home. All materials are provided.

A minimum of 6 registered attendees must be met for the program to run.

Registration is $25 per person

Our instructor, Nancy Pfeiffer, has been canning and preserving for over 40 years, and continues to keep up to date on the newest and best safety practices from trusted sources. She is experienced in water bath, steam, and pressure canning, as well as freezing and dehydrating to extend the harvest season. She enjoys teaching others to learn how to preserve safely.
