4-H Sewing Series

Description: This weekly series offers youth the opportunity to learn the basics of sewing and sewing techniques, and guides them through a simple project that they can take home with them!

Benefits for Youth Participants: learning a new skill, helping others, developing Youth Fair project

When & Where: 3/25, 4/1, 4/8, 4/15 (300 Orchard St, Fayetteville, NY 13066) 6:00 - 7:30

Who Can Participate: Any youth, 4-Her or not, any age!

4-H Spring Fling

Description: Come join us for a variety of activities that can spark an interest in any age youth. Participants will have the opportunity to try new things with the support of adults and peers.

Benefits for Youth Participants: learn about something new, make new friends, help others, begin to develop a Youth Fair project

When & Where: April 27th (6865 Fly Rd, East Syracuse, NY 13057) 1:00 - 3:30

Who Can Participate: Any youth, 4-Her or not, any age!

Animal Crackers

Description: The annual Animal Crackers program provides New York youth with fun, hands-on, science-oriented learning experiences on Animal Science topics.

Benefits for Youth Participants: learn more about livestock, companion or pet animal species, engage in hands-on activities, meet youth from throughout the state

When & Where: All day Saturday, May 3rd (CALS Animal Science, 507 Tower Rd., Frank B. Morrison Hall, Ithaca, NY, 14853)

Who Can Participate: 4-H enrolled youth... Suggested age range is 8-12, however, all youth 8 and up are welcome

4-H Teen Council

Description: Teen Council is a county-wide group specifically for teen (13-18 years of age) 4-H Club members. The purpose of the group is to help teens develop leadership skills while helping to build a strong county 4-H program that benefits all of our members.
