Amy Stewart: I love how 4-H gave me opportunities to gain
practical, lifelong skills. The public presentations taught me effective
communication. Woodworking and sewing projects allowed me to be creative
in new ways. One of my favorite memories is doing a fashion show of our
newly-sewn apparel at a nursing home. As an adult, I can see how 4-H provided a
pathway to finding my voice and passions!
A STRONGER 4-H COMMUNITY
Cornell Cooperative Extension of Onondaga County is
reaching out to 4-H alumni to build a network of people willing to share their memories,
wisdom, and generosity with the next generation of 4-Hers. Will you please join us? Share by emailing us below.
